Mr.Singha Prasitpong, IL Ph.D. student participated in The 6^th Siam Physics Congress (SPC2011) held at Ambassador City Jomtien Hotel, Pattaya and won the award for his outstanding oral presentation entitled “Positive Responses from Thai High School Students to the Interactive Lecture Demonstrations on the Types of Frictional Force”.

The thesis entitled “A NEW APPROACH TO TEACH COLORED LIGHT AND COLOR PERCEPTION FOR HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS BY USING COLORED LIGHT MIXER” studied by Dr.Suchai Nopparatjamjomras has been recognized by the Office of National Research Council of Thailland to be the 2011 Good National Thesis Award (Group of Social Science, Education).

Dr. Karnyupha Jittivadhna, IL faculty member, received the 2009 Graduate Thesis Publication Award from Faculty of Graduate Studies, Mahidol University in the field of Science/ Applied Science. The research work nominated for the award was derived from Dr. Karnyupha’s thesis on “Toward a Better Understanding of Biological Macromolecules: Creating Innovative Instructional Materials” and have been published in the international academic journals on the ISI database.
